This is Dr. William King.

He opened WKing Healthcare on Santa Rosalia with one idea:
Healthcare should feel respectful, personalized, and judgment-free.

Not rushed.
Not lectured.
Listened to.

Patients say it themselves in our reviews, he answers questions, explains options in plain language, and makes you feel safe asking about anything, including substance use, mental health, and chronic conditions.

That's the W King standard.

If you haven't met him yet, this is your invite.

You don't have to walk in with a diagnosis.

You don't have to say:
"I have opioid use disorder."
"I have alcohol use disorder."

You can simply say:
"This is what's been happening."

How often you're using.
What happens when you try to cut down.
How it's affecting sleep, work, relationships.

At W King Healthcare, Dr. King listens first, then helps you understand what may be going on and what options may be appropriate.

That can include counseling, support, and when clinically appropriate, FDA-approved medications for OUD, AUD, or to***co dependence. For stimulant use, behavioral support.

No lecture. No shame. Just a judgment-free conversation in South LA.

You don’t have to know which buprenorphine option you need. That’s what your provider is for.

Buprenorphine is a medication used to treat opioid use disorder. Many people don’t realize it may be available in different formulations, some taken regularly at home that dissolve under the tongue or inside the cheek, and some as long-acting injections administered by a healthcare professional.

Which option may be appropriate depends on medical history, treatment goals, and preferences.

At W King Healthcare, Dr. King walks you through options in plain language.

When someone you love is drinking too much, it's easy to feel like you have to fix it.
You don't.

But you can help them get closer to the right support.

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism recommends approaching a loved one with patience and support, encouraging professional help, and taking care of your own well-being too. Family therapy can also be part of treatment.

Instead of:
“Why don't you just stop?”
Try:
“I'm worried about you. Would you talk to a doctor with me?”
That conversation can be the beginning of getting help.
And you don't have to know exactly what to do next.

At WKing Healthcare, Dr. William King provides a judgment-free place to talk about health concerns and discuss appropriate next steps and treatment options.

If you're worried about your drinking, or you're worried about someone you love, you can start by talking to WKing.

Maybe you only smoke a few ci******es a day.

Maybe you only smoke socially.
Maybe you mainly smoke when you're stressed.

That doesn't automatically tell us whether you're ni****ne-dependent.
Ni****ne is addictive, and withdrawal can cause cravings, irritability, restlessness and difficulty concentrating.

That's why evidence-based quitting treatment can involve more than willpower.
Counseling and medications, including ni****ne replacement therapy, varenicline and bupropion, can help. Using counseling and medication together gives people who smoke the best chance of quitting successfully.

At WKing Healthcare, you can talk about quitting without being lectured.

You've probably heard the word buprenorphine before.
Maybe on the news.
Maybe from a friend.
Maybe because someone you love is struggling with opioids.

But what is it?
Buprenorphine is a medication used to treat opioid use disorder (OUD).
It helps reduce cravings and withdrawal and can reduce the effects of other opioids. It is one of the FDA-approved medications used to treat OUD.

And importantly:
Medication treatment is not “cheating” at recovery.
It is medical treatment.

At W King Healthcare, Dr. King believes patients deserve to understand what they're taking, why they're taking it, and what their options are.

When people hear “alcohol use disorder,” they often picture someone whose life has completely fallen apart.

But AUD can look very different.

A person can have a career, relationships and responsibilities and still meet the medical criteria for Alcohol Use Disorder.

Doctors look at patterns such as difficulty controlling drinking, cravings, continued drinking despite problems, and other symptoms, not whether someone “looks like an alcoholic.”

And treatment exists.

It can include behavioral treatment, support groups and medications such as naltrexone, acamprosate and disulfiram, depending on the person's situation.

At WKing, you don't have to diagnose yourself.
You can simply ask.
