The Recovery Advocate Offering Treatment Alternatives To Incarceration

I offer case management services to individuals who are substance-addicted or facing charges related to or resulting from addiction. By collaborating with the client, the attorney and the court, I’m able to design a treatment plan that directly matches the needs of the client with the best program and set of community referrals. I have extensive experience in assessment and referral and can assist a person in finding and entering the program which best suits their needs in modality, duration and funding.

Recovery looks different for everyone.

One person may need stable housing first; another may need medications as treatment. What matters is offering a range of care so people have options that fit their needs and experiences.

By 2018, fentanyl overdoses in Estonia had plummeted. But powerful new drugs are appearing fast, with the authorities racing to respond.

“Can we create a system of justice that looks wholly different from what most of us imagine when it comes to crime and punishment, while still demanding accountability from perpetrators? “In 1971, the year Nixon declared drug abuse public enemy number one, 6,771 Americans died of overdoses. Now, more than 70,000 Americans die annually, surpassing all American military deaths during the Vietnam War.”

Lab-made drugs soaked into the pages of letters, books and even legal documents are being smuggled behind bars, killing inmates and frustrating investigators.
