Our hearts are with Hayden Panettiere’s family, friends and loved ones. News like this is a devastating reminder of how quickly an emergency can unfold. If someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally:

- Call 911.
- Start CPR.
- Use an AED if one is available.

Your response could save a life 🤍 share to raise awareness.

Two feelings can exist at the same time. When your child is preparing to leave home, you might feel excited and proud, but also worried or scared. It’s about making room for all of it, not trying to rush those feelings or push them away. Before they leave, take time to be together, have the conversations, notice the ordinary moments, and take it all in. When it is time, trust that the love, guidance, and care you have given them will not stop when they walk out your front door. They will carry it with them. Growing up is full of ups and downs. So is learning to let them go.

Our minds are incredibly powerful. They can convince us that something terrible is about to happen, even when we’re completely safe. I’ve learned that one of the best ways to quiet the noise is to come back to the present. To breathe deeply. To witness what’s around me. To remind myself that right now, in this very moment, I am safe and protected. I am okay. If you notice yourself getting caught up in someone else’s negativity or drama, and you’re becoming energetically drained, remember it’s not yours. You can always come back to one of my favorite mantras. What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours.

We spend so much time caught up in our head looking ahead while never truly being present. Consumed by the never ending “to do” list, thinking about goals, plans, and work. Every now and then life interrupts with a moment that makes you stop. A beautiful view. A sunset. A conversation. A place that reminds us of how small we are in the best possible way. Maybe these moments are exactly what life is about.

Our hearts are constantly communicating with us. Long before a diagnosis, a symptom, or a heart event, our body will send signals. It knows when we’re exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, and living under more stress than we’re willing to admit. Rather than listening, we push through out of obligation until it’s to late. Heart disease is a silent killer. But you don’t have to become a statistic. While 1 in 3 women are living with heart disease, 80% is preventable. Slow down and listen. Your life is more valuable that your to do list.

After an intense emotional moment, some people experience chest pain, shortness of breath, and symptoms that feel like a heart attack. In some cases, it’s not caused by a blocked artery but by a temporary change in how the heart functions, often referred to as stress-induced cardiomyopathy or “broken heart syndrome.” It’s a real medical condition that requires proper evaluation and care. If symptoms like these show up, seeking medical attention is essential.
