The mentorship is going well. Obviously 😂

Meet Kara, one of our Yoga Vibe teacher training grads and Larry’s trusty teaching assistant on Sunday mornings!

As part of our YTT mentorship program, we invite select grads back into the room to assist experienced teachers. It’s a chance to watch bodies move in real time, practice hands-on adjustments, and develop their teaching eyes. All without the added pressure of remembering what pose comes next.

Think of it as the bridge between graduating YTT and stepping up to teach our Saturday $10 Basic Flow classes. A little less sequencing, a lot more observing, learning and doing.

Catch Kara Jobe assisting Larry Santiago every Sunday at 10am. And bonus Larry sightings this weekend: Friday at 8:30am and Saturday at 4:30pm!

Some people are taking the October Challenge. Dario’s apparently been doing the Lifetime Challenge. 😂

Last night, Dario Valderrama rolled out his mat for his 1,000th class at Yoga Vibe! 🎉 And fittingly, he hit the milestone in sam curry 🌈☀️💕’s Gentle + Restorative class.

We love that people make YV part of their routines, but even more that they stick around and become part of the community. Big congrats, Dario! ❤️

P.S. Unfortunately, your 1000th class still only counts as one toward the October Challenge 🙃

Your weekend could probably use a little less noise. And we’re not just talking about the kind you can hear.

The to-do lists. The scrolling. The 37 open tabs (including the ones in your brain.) Sometimes it’s nice to have an hour when absolutely nothing needs your attention.

This weekend, Amy Santiago turns Yoga Vibe into a cozy, candlelit escape with singing bowls, gongs and bells.

We’ve got a pretty great crew behind the desk. The friendly faces who know your name, answer your questions and make this little Craftsman on Hillhurst feel a little more like your neighborhood third space 🏡

And this week, one of those faces hits two years with us. 💛

ella atkinson started sitting at the Yoga Vibe door, took her first class (with heidi lisette) …and apparently decided to stick around.

She checks you in three days a week: Friday + Sunday mornings and Tuesday nights.

It means a lot to us when people become part of the place and stay part of the place. Happy two years, Ella.

The October Challenge: a highly unofficial survival guide. 🍂

20 classes. 31 days. That’s it. That’s the challenge.

Plan ahead. Mix it up. Take the chill classes. Grab a yoga buddy. Rest when you need to. And maybe don’t leave 11 classes for the final week. 😬

It’s not too late to join. Get your name on the board and start getting those stuck.

🍁 20 classes by October 31
🍁 $150 October Unlimited special
🍁 Workshops count as TWO classes
🍁 Everyone who finishes is in the running for prizes
🍁 One lucky yogi gets 3 FREE MONTHS of unlimited yoga

Been a week? We’ve got a room where you can do absolutely nothing for an hour.

NEXT Saturday night (10/10), Amy’s bringing out the bowls, gongs and bells for an hour-long Soundbath in Los Feliz 🏡

You don’t have to stretch. You don’t have to be good at meditating. You don’t even have to pay attention.

Get comfortable, close your eyes and let someone else make the noise for a change.

And if you’re doing the October Challenge, this one counts as two classes towards your 20/31
