Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared glimpses into my new book. These are just a few of the beautiful pieces of art, diverse, vibrant, glowing, uplifting, included in the pages of my book Rise and Thrive.

Let them be a reminder that you are amazing, you are loved, you are VALUED.

May is here. 💜

And with it comes something we take seriously every single year: Mental Health Awareness Month.

This May, we're holding space for all of it — the hard days and the good ones. The feelings you can name and the ones you can't quite put into words yet.

What's one thing you want to feel more of this month? Drop it in the comments below. 👇

Today’s sneak peek: “Boundaries & Social Media.” 🌿
Rise and Thrive helps young people explore what healthy online boundaries look like — and how to protect their peace when the digital world feels overwhelming.
Caregivers, try this: Have a 5-minute conversation with your teen about what feels like “too much” on social media. Listen. Breathe. Connect. 💬
Small steps, big healing.

We talk a lot about what’s broken in mental health.

But I’m deeply committed to showing what’s being built.

In just 18 months, the MATTIE Fund has invested $12 million into over 50 organizations advancing mental health equity across this country.

And here’s what matters most to me:

This capital didn’t just move—it moved *intentionally*:
🗣️Into the hands of leaders who reflect the communities they serve.

🗣️Into spaces that center women, girls, and gender-expansive people.

🗣️Into work that understands healing is not one-size-fits-all.

‼️Because equity isn’t an idea.‼️
It’s a practice. 👩🏾‍⚕️
It’s a decision. 🧠
🌻It’s where—and who—you choose to invest in.🌻

The MATTIE Fund is one expression of that commitment.
And we are just getting started.

When I wrote Rise and Thrive, I had three groups in mind who would get the most out of it. More than that? Rise and Thrive speaks to the young and old (but still young at heart), teens and parents, counselors and mentors. There’s nothing else out there for us like Rise and Thrive.

Behind every book is a reason for why it came to be. For me? I created this because it’s a book I wish I had back when I was younger. When I felt invisible. Or that I didn’t belong.
If you’ve ever felt that way, this book is for you. It’s different from what is out there for us. Give my latest blog post a read and I think you’ll see why Rise and Thrive is more than just a book. For some of us and our loved ones, it’s a lifeline.
