These are our hands. 🤎
I became a mother through (repeated) loss first. TFMR. Grief I didn't know how to hold. A road I never expected to be on.
And then...him.
World Maternal Mental Health Awareness Day exists because the journey to motherhood, and through it, is rarely what we imagined. For so many, it carries loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and a grief that doesn't have a name yet.
As a therapist, I hold space for that every day.
As a parent, I know it from the inside.
If you are struggling, in pregnancy, postpartum, or anywhere along the road, you are not the only one. 🤎
