The number of eggs that you get in an egg retrieval regardless if it’s Ivf or egg freezing is not always consistent.

A recent study show that egg number can vary by over 30% and half of women.

After you’ve completed one cycle sometimes we can look at the protocol and dosing and make changes that will improve your outcome the second time around.

Sometimes it’s just the eggs that are available that month.

Age, AMH,follicle count are always the best predictors

🚨 The future of endometriosis diagnosis is HERE. 🚨

For decades, diagnosing endometriosis has meant one of two paths: an endometrial biopsy, or surgery — the gold standard, but invasive, costly, and often years in the making.

Not anymore.

Her Resolve is a new blood test that detects endometriosis with a simple blood draw. No OR. No anesthesia. No years of being dismissed. 🩸

Why this matters:
✨ Detects endometriosis in 80% of patients who have it
✨ When positive, it’s 95% accurate
✨ Fast. Simple. Accessible.

The average patient waits 7–10 years for an endometriosis diagnosis. This test changes that — meaning earlier answers, earlier treatment, and earlier relief for the millions who’ve spent years searching for one. 💜

This is real progress. This is happening. And we’re here for it at Pinnacle Fertility. 🙌

Behind every successful cycle is a team that truly cares.

We meet. We discuss. We learn from one another.
We ask how we can do better—every time.

Because your outcome matters.
And so does your experience getting there.

At our team meeting this week.

Dr. Vyas and I clearly coordinated outfits today…
Dr. Ringler did not get the memo. 🤣

In egg freezing and IVF, timing is everything.

One key goal? Preventing premature ovulation before retrieval.

We use GnRH agonists, antagonists, and now even oral options like Provera to keep cycles controlled.

Patients with diminished ovarian reserve or more advanced reproductive age may have a higher risk of ovulating early—so protocol selection is critical.

This is where personalized care makes all the difference.

03/21/2026

Diminished ovarian reserve ≠ poor egg quality — and this distinction matters.

Ovarian reserve is about quantity (how many eggs you have).
Egg quality is about genetic health (how likely an egg leads to a healthy embryo).

Yes, both change with age. But having a lower egg count doesn’t automatically mean the eggs you do have are poor quality.

👉 You can have:
• Low reserve + good quality
• Normal reserve + poor quality

This is why individualized fertility care matters — it’s not one-size-fits-all.

If you’ve been told you have “low reserve,” don’t assume the worst. The full picture is more nuanced — and there are still very real paths forward.

Frozen embryo transfer protocols matter—but maybe not in the way you think.

While early studies raised concerns about higher rates of preeclampsia in programmed cycles, newer data suggests the difference is modest—with an absolute increase of ~2%.

Most importantly, live birth rates remain the same across protocols.

✨ Translation: this is about personalization, not one “best” approach.

Not all clinics offer both options—so ask.
Because informed patients make better decisions.

Endometriosis shouldn’t take 10 years to diagnose.

But for many women, it still does.

The future is changing:
→ Non-invasive diagnostics
→ Predicting progesterone resistance
→ Personalizing treatment before embryo transfer

This is how we improve outcomes.

More eggs. More opportunity. More possibility.

A recent study suggests that conventional methods of searching follicular fluid during IVF may miss eggs — and that newer automated technology can recover additional eggs more than half the time.

In fertility care, numbers matter. Even one additional egg can increase the chance of creating a healthy embryo.

Technology is always evolving — and at Pinnacle Fertility California, we pride ourselves on staying at the forefront of innovation to benefit our patients. From advanced lab systems to highly skilled embryology teams, we are constantly evaluating what can improve outcomes.

Because in IVF, every detail counts.
