This past weekend, Hajo led a workshop “Magic of Herbs” 🌿🪄with the Koreatown Storytelling Program .

Participants got to learn about herbal medicine‘s origins and applications. Dr. Kim also took us on many philosophical winding paths. We got to try a special herbal formula together and everyone took home a “portable apothecary” that they made.

Thank you KSP for being such great partners. Hajo loves to educate, create, and make - we’re happy to collaborate on similar workshops and events.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Inner Landscapes artist talk. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful questions, the collective tracing of pulse, and the chance to share the winding paths that shaped this exhibition.

We’re currently working on a transcription to share with those who couldn’t make it.

This piece conjures the ghost of MacArthur Lake before Wilshire Boulevard cut through its center in 1934. Inspired by the sensibility of found-artist John Woods, visitors are invited to “fish” for keys—small relics of what the lake once held and what it might remember.

Ingredients: Mylar + tablecloths, keys, bamboo fishing poles, string, fishing lures

“Fished” keys can be exchanged for a prize
