We learn everything through play, from basic eye contact to making sophisticated compromises to true emotional connections -- it's all there. e fun with another person. I run my practice on the notion that the increase in autism is the world's way of inviting more love and acceptance and playful connection into it. Our first goal is always to support a happy child and a happy family.

This filmmaking class is designed for our neurodiverse kids, especially those with ADHD, to build focus, confidence, and real-life communication skills in a creative, supportive space.

Today, the kids practiced being present “on set,” explored their voice, tone, and self-expression on camera, and filmed themselves introducing who they are. Watching it back together helped them see their strengths and gently learn areas for growth, something that’s powerful and not always easy.

We also worked on storytelling and sequencing, and by the end of class, they created their own short film! 🎥

Today everyone stepped into the role of an actor. Next week, we’ll explore producing, directing, editing, and more.
