What happens when you mix Handyman Hal, kids yoga, and a trip to the moon? šŸŒ

Handyman Hal goes triple platinum in our household, so naturally, we had to take our little yogis on a Galaxy Adventure! šŸš€

Rocket Pose → Star Pose → safe landing on the moon! šŸš€šŸ’«šŸŒ

This is what I love about children’s yoga: imagination, music, movement, and PLAY can come together while little ones build body awareness, coordination, balance, and strength. šŸ’›

Would your little yogi join this adventure? šŸš€

šŸš€Let’s Play Yoga! Galaxy Adventures šŸ’«

We’re back again with another Handyman Hal hit! I swear, Handyman Hal music goes triple platinum in our household! And honestly, my children are some of my biggest inspirations for the flows I create. šŸ’•

Today, we’re blasting off on a Galaxy Adventure! šŸš€

As we soar through the sky and head straight for the moon, we blast through the stars in Rocket Pose. šŸš€ Then we shoot across the galaxy like a star in Star Pose šŸ’«before making a safe landing right on the heart of the moon. šŸŒ

One of my favorite things about children’s yoga is the freedom that comes with it. There’s room for imagination, cool tunes, creativity, and awesome poses all while children are naturally building body awareness, coordination, balance, and strength through play. šŸ„¹šŸ’•

It doesn’t have to be perfect or overly structured. Sometimes, it’s simply about moving, imagining, laughing, and connecting. šŸ«¶šŸ¾

Would you and your little yogi enjoy going on a Galaxy Adventure like this? šŸš€

P.S. I had SO much fun creating this one! šŸ˜‚šŸ’—

Single motherhood has made me strong in ways I never asked to be.

Strong enough to make decisions alone.
Strong enough to keep going when I’m exhausted.
Strong enough to carry the weight of motherhood, life, and everything in between.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I was becoming so good at being strong that I was forgetting how to be soft.

And I miss her.

The woman who moves slowly.
The woman who receives instead of always giving.
The woman who rests without feeling guilty.
The woman who allows herself to be held, supported, nurtured, and cared for.

So I’m finding my way back to her.

Through yoga.
Through breath.
Through slowing down.
Through letting my children see that Mama doesn’t always have to have it all together.
Through creating little moments where I can simply be instead of constantly doing.

I’m learning that softness isn’t weakness.
Rest isn’t laziness.
Receiving isn’t selfish.

And maybe the lesson I’m teaching my children through yoga isn’t just how to find their balance…

Maybe it’s showing them that we can be strong and still remain soft. šŸ’œ

Because I don’t want motherhood to harden me.

I want it to deepen me.

Hey there! šŸ’œ

I’m Joya, a children’s and family yoga teacher, mom, and advocate for creating more inclusive, healing-centered spaces for families.

With my 95-Hour Children’s Yoga certification, RYT-200, and Trauma-Informed Yoga certification, I’m passionate about using yoga, mindfulness, play, and community to help mothers and children feel supported, connected, and empowered.

I’m excited to connect with others who believe wellness is more than just an individual practice-it’s something we can build together.

Here’s to creating spaces where families can hold space, spread love, and thrive. ✨

What does community wellness look like to you?

I’ve been walking in purpose with my head held high, and I can say without a doubt, little me is so proud. šŸ’

And maybe that’s one of the most beautiful parts of doing this work, creating the kind of childhood connection, safety, and joy that our little selves deserved, too. 🪷

Proof that toddlers can find their zen anywhere. 😊

There’s something so sweet about watching your little one naturally join in when movement becomes part of everyday life. šŸ’›

These little moments are building strength, balance, confidence, and body awareness all while having fun! 🐾

Does your little yogi love joining your workouts too? šŸ«¶šŸ¾
