As a part of our Live A Dream program, Judy recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of soaring above the clouds in a hot air balloon with her son by her side. Together, they enjoyed breathtaking views of Lake Michigan, shared unforgettable memories and experience the peaceful beauty that can only be found high above the world below.

For Judy, this dream wasn't just about the view, it was about sharing a once-in-a-lifetime experience with family and proving that it's never too late to reach for the skies.

Some dreams bring us right back to where our hearts always belonged. For this special Live A Dream moment, a beloved former teacher returned to Middlebury Elementary School and stepped back into the very classroom where she spent 40 years shaping young minds, encouraging confidence and helping generations of children discover the joy of reading.
Surrounded by bright-eyed first graders, she read The Very Clumsy Click Beetle once again- a story filled with perseverance, kindness and never giving up. One line from the book felt like specially meaningful in that moment: "you can do it!"
Because the love of a teacher never truly leaves the classroom. It lives on it every child encouraged, every story shared and every life forever touched by their care.
