History was made in Uganda.

This photo captures the very first recovery meeting ever held in this community. What an incredible privilege it was to stand alongside local leaders and share a message of hope, healing, and freedom through Christ.

Recovery is possible everywhere. Addiction does not have the final word, and neither does shame. Together, we were able to introduce a pathway to recovery, provide practical resources, and equip these men and women to continue bringing hope back to their own villages and communities.

This wasn’t just a meeting, it was the beginning of something that we pray will multiply for generations as disciples make disciples and people in recovery help others find freedom.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and supported this mission. Your generosity helped plant seeds that will continue to grow long after we’ve returned home.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” - Matthew 28:19

What a blessing it was to spend time with the residents and staff at Juniper Tree Recovery!

Our SE Recovery team had the opportunity to visit, share encouragement, and remind everyone that lasting freedom is possible through Christ and the support of a recovery community. We believe no one is beyond hope, and it’s always an honor to walk alongside organizations that are making a difference in the lives of those pursuing recovery.

We’re grateful for the partnership with Juniper Tree Recovery and for their commitment to helping individuals find healing and a fresh start. Thank you for welcoming us with such warmth, we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Today we’re celebrating 8 men from the Pike County Detention Center who recently completed Phases 1, 2, and 3 of our Spiritual Pathways class through SE Recovery.

What an incredible reminder that no person is too far gone, no story is beyond redemption, and no cell is too dark for hope to find its way in.

Week after week, these men showed up, leaned in, asked hard questions, and took intentional steps toward healing, growth, and transformation. We are proud of every one of them.

Recovery is about discovering purpose, identity, freedom, and a new way to live. We’re honored to walk alongside men and women in spaces like Pike County and remind them that their past does not have the final say.

Please help us congratulate these 8 men on this milestone and continue praying for their journeys ahead. 🙏
