Meet Kim Cabrera! 👋 Kim has been part of the Walden team for 8 years as a BCBA. She works with teens and adults in the community and supports participants on the Michelle P and SCL waivers.

Kim’s favorite coping skills include practicing yoga 🧘‍♀️ and singing along to loud music in her car. 🎶

📚 Preparing for kindergarten starts before the first day of school!

Our specialized School-Readiness Program is designed for children ages 2–6 on the autism spectrum who are ready to build the skills needed for success in preschool and kindergarten.

Children in our program receive:
⭐ Individualized 1:1 ABA therapy
⭐ Opportunities for group learning and social skill development
⭐ Support with communication, following routines, emotional regulation, play skills, and independence
⭐ A structured clinic environment that helps prepare them for the expectations of a classroom

Earlier this month, we had the privilege of attending an autism resource event hosted by the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. We loved connecting with their team and sharing information to support individuals and families in our community.
