With the extreme amount of rainfall causing flooding, washouts, and damage in the area, please remember cemeteries are not exempt from the effects of this severe weather.
Excessive rain can cause unusual settling, displaced flowers or decorations, and other ground disturbances, especially in low-lying areas, near drainage paths, on hillsides, or at recently interred graves.
While some settling is a natural part of the burial process, the extraordinary amount of rain may increase these conditions.
Moments Funeral Home is aware of some gravesites that may need assistance. We are actively addressing these concerns and working hard to ensure the integrity of any affected sites.
