Jonathan “Jon” Winscott, of Jones, Oklahoma passed away on June 16, 2026. He was born on September 26, 1966, in the Fitzsimmons Military Hospital in Denver, Colorado to James “Jim” Winscott and Mary Abbott Winscott.

Jon lived with his mom in Tryon, Oklahoma until they joined his dad, Jim in Baumholder, Germany in 1967. At 18 months old they moved to Ft Lewis, Washington. He spent his childhood living in Tacoma, Washington, where he considered home. He played soccer and graduated from Lakes Highschool and found a love for the Washington Huskies.

Following his dad’s footsteps, Jon joined the army at 18 and served four years during Desert Storm. After his time in the army he moved to Jones, Oklahoma. He spent nearly 30 years working for Associated Wholesale Grocers, until his near fatal ATV accident in 2021.

Jon loved the outdoors. Fishing, camping, riding his ATV, if it was outside he was there. He loved going to the movies and cherished his tradition of taking his daughters to see a movie every christmas. He also had a passion for cooking, and loved making his daughters breakfast where he would serve the world’s best pancakes.

Jon is survived by his daughters, Sierra Jones and husband Caleb Jones and Kaitlyn Cedano and husband George Cedano; granddaughter Ariella Cedano; and mother Mary Winscott. as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Jim Winscott and brother Roger Winscott.

Jon found an incredible love for God and dedicated his life to Him after his accident in 2021. He would share his story with everyone he met and was so excited to walk again with Jesus.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 22 from 5-7 pm at Boydston-Bailey funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at 1pm at the Edmond First Church of the Nazarene (3001 n Boulevard st, Edmond, ok 73013) with pastor Rich Schoonover officiating.

Pauline Adams 94, of Luther, Oklahoma passed from this life on May 27, 2026. She was born October 9, 1931 to Addie (Ingle) and George Adams. She worked for the Department of Human Services before going to work for Halliburton where she worked until her retirement.
She took an early retirement to take care of her mother she lived in several places, including Duncan, Edmond, Marlow, and finally moving to Luther in 2003 to stay with her mother until she passed away. She was a hard-working woman who loved to go to garage sales and work gardens with her cousin, Mark, She was loved by everyone that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and her baby brother, Junior Mac who died as an infant. She is survived by her cousin Mark Ingle of Luther, Oklahoma.

Maydene Marie Musgrave, 85, of Luther, Oklahoma, passed from this life on May 20, 2026, at her home. Maydene was born on May 3, 1941, in Minco, Oklahoma, to Obrey and Stella Gray. She married her husband, Jimmy Musgrave, on June 5, 1962, and together they went on to have one daughter and three sons. She spent her life working as a cook at multiple diners and other establishments throughout the years.
Maydene was deeply rooted in her faith, with God and family being the most important parts of her life. She loved to crochet, read the Bible, drink coffee on her porch, walk her land and spend time with her family.
Maydene is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Musgrave; daughter, Stella Brown; son, James Musgrave; great-grandson, Dalton Parsons; her mother and father; and her brothers and sisters.
Maydene is survived by her sons, Ray Musgrave and Lindsey Musgrave of Luther, Oklahoma; Grandchildren Timmy Musgrave, Liz Parsons and husband Brad, Edmond Robison Jr. and wife Lovely, Jimmy Robison and wife Sara, April Musgrave. Great-grandchildren Kayla Hankins and husband Justin, Zachery Ringwald and wife Leah, Lexi Ringwald, Denver Parsons, Daylan Parsons and wife Jessica, Brooklyn Parsons, Aiden Andrews, Pearl Robison, Demi Robison, Paislee Parsons, Ajay Musgrave, and Freya Musgrave; as well as eight great-great-grandchildren.
Maydene will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her smile and her hugs were a gift to everyone who knew her and will truly be missed. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00PM at the Assembly of God church in Luther, OK.

Vivian Christine Barnes 74 of Jones, Oklahoma passed from this life May 12, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Chris was born February 18, 1952. Chris is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Barnes, two daughters, Amber and Nicole, three grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, and Kian, as well as a host of family and friends. Harold Eugene Allen, a.k.a. "Slim" of Jones, Oklahoma went to be with his parents on the afternoon of May 4, 2026, after a brief stay in the hospital. He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on February 18,1968, to Elige and Linda Allen who preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving sister, Ginger Allen also of Jones, his stepson, Mitchell and many very close friends. Slim had been a member of Naysayers motorcycle club since 2014. He loved to ride his motorcycle with the club and was well loved and respected by the other club members. He drove a truck for almost 30 years and owned an es**rt business for over sized loads which took him to all the lower 48 states. Slim had a dog named "Leroy Brown" which was his constant companion. Leroy traveled with him and his truck everywhere he went. He also had "Piper" who stayed home. Slim's heart was as big as the sky which he showed in his relationships with his dog, his sister, his club brothers and other friends. He will be missed by all. Any pending services will be announced at a later date.

Goldie W Nelson passed of this life on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the age of 103. In the comfort of home, she quietly met the arms of Jesus, and she was reunited with the love of her life, Olen, whom she missed greatly these last 15 years. She is greatly missed by her family.
