💙 Celebrating Those Who Stand Behind Recovery
During National Recovery Month, we spend a lot of time celebrating the individuals whose lives have been transformed through recovery; and rightfully so.
But strong recovery communities are also built by the people who believe in the work, stand behind it, and continue showing up year after year.
Today, we'd like to recognize one of those people: our Board President, Jason Todd.
Jason has supported Roads to Recovery since the very beginning. Over the years, he has given generously of his time, leadership, resources, and personal support to help our organization grow and continue serving individuals and families throughout our community.
Through good times and challenging ones, Jason has remained a steadfast advocate for R2R and for the belief that people deserve opportunities to recover, rebuild, and create meaningful lives.
We also know that this kind of commitment doesn't happen in isolation. Over the years, the countless hours Jason has given to R2R have also meant time away from the people most important to him. So today, our gratitude extends to Jason's wife and family as well. Their support and the time they've shared with us over the years have helped make Jason's service to our organization possible. We don't take that sacrifice for granted.
Organizations like ours don't make it more than a decade because of any one person. They endure because a community of people continues to believe that the mission is worth fighting for. Jason, and the family standing behind him, have been part of that community from day one.
Thank you, Jason, for your leadership, generosity, friendship, and unwavering support of Roads to Recovery. And thank you to your family for sharing so much of you with us over the years. We're incredibly fortunate to have all of you in our corner. 💙
