We have a Fall garden going out here at Growing Veterans with plenty of work to be done. Planting in the hoop house, prepping beds for winter, harvesting greens, beets, radish and carrots etc.
If you or anyone you know is looking for a way to get involved and help fight food scarcity and insecurity in Whatcom County, come on out! Volunteer/open farm hours are Wed-Fri 9am-3pm! ALL ARE WELCOME!

We have tasks for any/all abilities and time constructions. Or just come by for a farm tour!

We are thankful to all of our interns, volunteers and community members that make this place so special.

Another awesome Coffee Check In! We had about 30 community members out on the farm today, we harvested and donated 170lb of Carrots, Greens, Butternut Squash and Kale to Ferndale Food Bank.

If you or anyone you know is looking for a welcoming place to make friends, find resources or get involved, come on out to the farm Wed-Fri 9am-3pm. Anyone/everyone is welcome!

Coffee Check In is a peer support/social event that we host EVERY Friday morning at 9am. Free coffee and snacks provided. Come one come all!

Here’s our most recent harvest of Certified Organic Veggies to the Bellingham Food Bank . Summer and Winter Squash, Peppers, Carrots and plenty of greens. As we move deeper into Fall, things aren’t slowing down at the farm. Prepping fields for winter while planting lettuce and broccoli in the high tunnel for a late winter harvest!
Come by the farm and say hi, Wed-Fri 9am - 2pm.
