At LCHC, care starts with being understood.

58% of our patients prefer to receive care in Spanish, and we also serve patients in English, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Arabic, Khmer, and more.

Coverage also never determines whether you belong here. Our patients come to us on Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, or with no insurance at all, and every one of them receives the same standard of care. Our newly launched Welcome Center makes that first step even easier, helping 5,975 patients with registration, billing, and insurance enrollment since it opened.

Sometimes the best care comes from training the next generation to deliver it.

Developed by our CFO, Ryan Sullivan, in partnership with Boston College's nurse practitioner training program, this student clinic paired hands-on learning with focused care for patients overdue for Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and cervical cancer screenings.

The result was more than 400 early detection screenings and over 200 quality care gaps closed, including serious conditions that needed timely follow-up.

Community Health Workers are trusted frontline professionals with deep ties to the neighborhoods they serve. At LCHC, our 16 CHWs and 2 CHW Managers work across our main health center, school-based sites, and specialized programs, meeting patients wherever they are.

The research backs up what our team already knows. In a national study spanning 25 community health centers, patients who received CHW-led care saw significantly stronger outcomes than those who didn't, in less time. This year alone, our CHWs have completed more than 11,000 patient encounters.

This week, we celebrate who they are, commemorate what they've achieved, and recommit to collaborating with equity at the center of everything we do. Thank you to our incredible CHW team.

From your very first prenatal visit to the moment you bring your baby home, our Maternal Health programs are with you every step of the way.

Our OB/GYN providers guided 650 deliveries this year, offering your choice of physician or certified nurse midwife through every stage of pregnancy.

Through our partnership with Mass General Brigham, the Birth Partners Doula Program provided free, personalized support to first-time mothers in its very first year.

And through Moms Do Care, one of six statewide programs of its kind, we supported 89 pregnant and parenting women navigating substance use recovery with whole-person care.

For nearly five years, one WIC participant has stayed connected with the same LCHC staff member, Rosa, through three pregnancies and every milestone that followed.

With steady guidance and encouragement, she met her goal of breastfeeding each of her children, even while navigating medical concerns, milk supply challenges, and a return to work while serving in the Air Force. Now expecting again, she recently reached out to share the news.

Last week, a new group of Lynn high schoolers stepped into their first days as Community Health Student Fellows.

Four days of orientation. New faces, new connections and the start of a year built on mentorship, hands-on learning and real community impact.

Fellows heard from LCHC leadership, toured our sites, sat in on a career panel with staff from across the organization and connected with mentors who once sat exactly where they're sitting now. For every fellow starting their healthcare journey, there was someone who believed in them first. Now they're building that same belief for the ones who comes after them.
