Hola Joe,

New HUD Older Adult Home Modification grant was released, but I've been out on the lake and just found out last week. The grant closes on August 31st so we have to act fast.

Anyone interested in developing this grant in their area with HMOTA you need to do the following:
Contact a non-profit that serves older adults in your area and ask them if they're interested in partnering to obtain a grant for falls prevention in their area. Let them know we have a grant writer that will be able to assist us with writing the grant and that the grant closes on Oct. 16th so we have to move fast. If you'd like to work with HMOTA then copy Karen on your email ([email protected]).
You will need to sign a contract with HMOTA if we begin working on the grant application together.

On July 26, 1990, President George H.W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act into law, marking a major step forward in protecting the rights of Americans with disabilities.
