🎃👻 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Trick or Treat event! It was an absolutely fantastic evening.
Our residents had the best time sitting outside of their apartments, handing out candy, and seeing all of your amazing, spooky costumes! Bringing our community together like this brings them so much joy. 🍬✨
We appreciate you all for making it such a special, memorable night!

A huge thank you to Serenity Hospice PA for bringing their incredible Serenity Surprise program to our community!
We were able to surprise one of our residents with some very special, four-legged visitors. As a lifelong horse lover, his face completely lit up the moment they arrived. It was a truly beautiful, heartwarming afternoon filled with smiles, nostalgic memories, and plenty of love.
We are so grateful to the Serenity Hospice team for their kindness, compassion, and for helping us create such a magical moment for our resident. 🐴❤️

🐟 What a fantastic day trip! Our residents recently took an exciting excursion to the world's largest Cabela's in Hamburg, PA, and it felt more like exploring a museum than a store! We had an incredible time walking through their massive indoor attractions, including:

• The 55,000-Gallon Aquarium & Trout Pond: We loved watching over 30 species of native Pennsylvania fish, including rainbow trout, largemouth bass, and catfish, swimming right past us!
• The Deer Country Museum: We explored an amazing collection of 97 wildlife mounts, spotting everything from white-tailed deer to hidden otters and black bears.
• The African Diorama: A true crowd favorite featuring the "Big 5" up close, including a massive elephant and lions.

Everyone enjoyed stretching their legs, seeing the beautiful indoor waterfalls, and checking out the sights. Thank you to the staff at the Hamburg Cabela's for having us! 🚌❤️

🧠💜 The Power of Us. The Power of Now.

Lillian Reda, Genesis' National Director of Memory Support Clinical Practice and Education, recently attended the Alzheimer's Association Community Leaders Summit in Anaheim, CA.

This inspiring gathering brings together community leaders from across the country to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance a collective vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. The summit energizes participants to expand outreach, support, and impact in communities nationwide.

Reflecting on the experience, Lillian shared, “It was truly an impactful learning and networking experience. The ‘purple’ passion among attendees, the powerful personal stories shared, and the insights into the current momentum in care and treatment advancements were not only inspiring but absolutely energizing.”

Genesis is also proud to mark 17 years of participation as a National Team supporting Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Do What You Love to End ALZ, along with our continued efforts to expand access to education, support programs, advocacy, and research.
