Our residents, faculty and GME were able to attend the AAP National Conference this weekend in sunny San Diego! ☀️🏄🏻♀️🌅
They presented oral and poster presentations, attended lectures and networked with other programs.
A major theme this year was that, despite the challenges of pediatricians nationwide, we remain one of the best fields at advocating for our patients, treating the most vulnerable and going to work every day with smiles and sparkles! We are so proud to be pediatricians and to have the privilege in taking care of our precious kiddos 🤗

Dr. Mia Wolff (PGY-3) gave an impressive oral presentation on the 10 year mortality trends of Diabetic Ketoacidosis on pediatric populations. We are so proud of her for not only her incredible oratory skills but also her incredible work ethic and passion for kids in critical care settings! Go Dr. Wolff! 🤠😁
Dr. Simran Bains (PGY-3) and Dr. Navya Katragadda (PGY-3) presented their QI project on implementing ACEs screening into our local clinics. They have worked on this project for 3 years and made a positive impact on so many of our families! We’re so proud of the both of you! 🤗
Dr. Veronica Gullapalli (PGY-3) presented her QI project implementing toys and play as prescriptions for children. She has dedicated almost 3 years and countless hours to bringing joy and happiness to our pediatric population in Fresno! Go Dr.
