I am currently opening up my waitlist as I see a considerable amount of openings coming in the next few months. My private practice is strictly via telehealth but also has the advantage of being local. Hello All,
This page is for my new private practice. I am currently taking new clients for my waitlist which I forsee having several openings in the next few months. My name is Karyn Falco, LCSW and I have over 20 years experience working in the Mental Health field. I started off working as a one to one aid working in the community with children and adolescents with disabilities.From there I interned for the foster care system assisting children to connect to kinship placements. I worked with Maine Families for 5 years providing parent education, early childhood interventions, and connecting Maines most at risk populations ( teen parents, opioid dependent house holds, military families etc.) with services needed to become successful with their well being. After I pursued my clinical degree in Social Work at UNE, where I was successfully trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing and various other modalities, I worked clinically in three of Maines school districts providing counseling services to Maine students (K-12) in a school based setting specializing in working with the emerging adult population. I have also worked for several agencies providing Outpatient services for all ages in an agency setting as well as via telehealth. I currently work full time providing counseling in a youth Day Treatment education setting and am now starting my very own telehealth private practice part-time providing therapy to clients.
