⭐️⭐️Medicare GLP-1 coverage for obesity begins July 1, 2026 ⭐️⭐️
😁GREAT NEWS FOR MEDICARE PATIENTS 😁

New Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program

The Bridge provides certain Medicare Part D beneficiaries access to covered obesity medications for a flat $50 copay per 28- or 30-day fill, with no deductible.

Patients must have eligible Medicare Part D coverage
• Be prescribed treatment specifically for weight reduction and maintenance
• Participate in ongoing nutrition and physical activity intervention
• Not have already received a GLP-1 through their Part D plan
• Not be seeking coverage for another Part D-coverable indication, such as type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, MASH, or cardiovascular risk reduction

Guidelines to QUALIFY ⬇️⬇️⬇️
• BMI ≥35
• BMI ≥30 plus HFpEF, uncontrolled hypertension despite 2 medications, or CKD stage 3a+
• BMI ≥27 plus prediabetes, prior MI, prior stroke, or symptomatic PAD

COVERED MEDICATIONS
• Wegovy injection or tablets
• Foundayo tablets
• Zepbound KwikPen
Zepbound single-dose pens and vials are not covered through the Bridge.
