Michael Ray Marshall, age 73 passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the AdventHealth of Manchester in Manchester, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, August 16, 1952 in Manchester, Kentucky to Charlie Marshall Jr. and Pauline (Duff) Marshall. He worked in the Coal Mines as a Miner and Loader Operator. He was also a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Delinda (Senters) Marshall: his children: Monica Marshall and fiancé Randy Whittymore, Lee Marshall and wife Leann and Michael Powers and wife Serina: as well as his grandchildren: Karmyn Marshall, Charlie Marshall and Levi Marshall. his siblings: Everett Marshall and wife Jamie, Ruth Ann Morgan and husband Charles, Linda Sue Moore and husband Joseph, Edna Brewer and Troy Marshall. As well as his Mother-in-law: Amanda Senters. These special friends: Jennings Fields Jr. and Kaye Allen and Jimmy and Darlene Gray. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Charlie Marshall Jr. and Pauline (Duff) Marshall. His sisters: Gayla Powell, Robin Lynch and Daisy Moore. And his father-in-law: Je Senters.

Funeral Services for Michael Ray Marshall will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Boley will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Powers Family Cemetery in Whitley County.

Ruby Dezarn Martin, age 71 passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the AdventHealth of Manchester, Kentucky. She was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1954 in Manchester, Kentucky to William Dezarn Jr. and Bertha (Hollin) Dezarn. She worked for 47 years at AdventHealth of Manchester and was a member of the Beech Creek Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her brother: Anthony Dezarn, and her sister: Rose Harris, her nephews: Brad Harris, Kyle Dezarn, Philip Dezarn and wife Jennifer and Kendrick Dezarn, her nieces: Shawna Frazier and husband Scott, Kait Dezarn and Karissa Dezarn: her caretaker and friend: David Michael Bush, and her friend: Sherry Owens, also surviving are 7 great nieces and great-nephews.

Gilbert Russell Miller, age 82 passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, April 26, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky to Gilbert “Hayseed” and Bernice (Bowling) Miller. He was a project foreman for Wiser Gas and Oil Company for many years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Chanin Sucher and husband Steve, his grandchildren: Ian Sucher and Mackenzie Sucher, several nieces and nephews and his dear friends: Jimmy Dobson, Gilbert Rader, Donna and Ronnie Addington and Dustan Tye.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert “Hayseed” and Bernice Miller, his sister: Jean Burns and his brothers: Ray Miller and Roy Miller.

Robert J. Rawlings, age 51 passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center. He was born on Sunday, July 14, 1974 in Manchester to Herman and Sally (Barger) Rawlings.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sister: Carol Burns and his brothers: Roscoe Burns and Wayne Burns and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Herman and Sally Rawlings and his brother: He is preceded in death by his parents: Herman and Sally Rawlings, his brother: Herman Rawlings, Jr. and his half-sisters: Ann Dunlap and Christine Monical.

Billy Adam Hurd, Sr., age 93 went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He was born on Monday, May 30, 1932 in Manchester, Kentucky to James and Charity (Bowling) Hurd. Billy was a farmer, a factory worker for GE, a member of the Gray Fork Baptist Church, former Sunday School Teacher and a Veteran of the United States Army. Billy was loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, always smiling and sharing love and happiness wherever he went.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of over 60 years: Jackie (Anderson) Hurd, his sons: Billy Hurd, Jr. and wife Sheila, Lloyd Dean Cottongim and wife Gail and Kenneth Jeffrey Hobbs as well as his grandchildren: Amber Allen and husband Tyler, Emma Gilbert and husband John Gilbert, Amy Woods and husband Elijah, Stephen Cottongim and wife Shawna, Adam Hobbs and wife Amber, Jeremy Hobbs and wife Kiera and Justin Hobbs and wife Kelsey. She was born on Friday, August 27, 1954 in Alabaster, Alabama to Ike and Priscilla (Johnson) Hall. She worked for the Department of Transportation and was a member of the St. Paul AME Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Anthony “Pepper” Gilbert and wife Christi, her grandchildren: Christopher Napier, Natosha Hacker and husband Dylan, Anthony Nicholas Gilbert, Shelbie Parker, Peyton Parker, Jamie Smith and Ian Gilbert, as well as her great-grandchildren: Demarkus, Haraya, Aaliyah, Azaria, Emery, Roman, Annabeth and Precious. He was born on Monday, September 8, 1947 in Oneida, Kentucky to William Howard Gregory and Edith (Scalf) Jeffrey. He worked for Elmo Greer and Sons, ICG, ran heavy equipment, a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Bill Gregory and wife Rose, his daughter: Nikki Gregory as well as his grandchildren: Lauren Dezarn and husband: Bryan, Lynsie Hughes and husband Peyton and Brayden Gregory and his great grandchildren: Cayden Dezarn and Hallie Bren Hughes. Robert Lee Walker, age 91 passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the AdventHealth of Manchester, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, November 4, 1934 in Manchester, Kentucky. He was a veteran with the United States Military-Armed Forces Division from 1951 until 1978, including the Vietnam War for 39 months. After his military service, he resided in the states of New Jersey and Georgia, before eventually moving back to home to Manchester, Kentucky in the early 1980s. His many hobbies included fishing, motorcycle riding and reading scripture.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother: Hester (Cash) Walker and his father: Rollie Walker. He leaves behind to mourn his passing a host of friends, acquaintances, and family, including Lorraine Pennington and her husband, children and grandchild.

Larry Gene Gray was born August 1, 1948 in Clay County and departed this life Monday, May 4, 2026 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Brandy & Ivory (Collins) Gray.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda (Northern) Gray of Berea: by a son Bobby Gene (Marita) Gray of Sand Gap; by three grandchildren, Lindsey (Elmer) Rader, Brandi Gray & Landon Gray and by a great granddaughter, Eva Jaymes Rader and another one on the way, Ivory Jean Rader. He is also survived by four siblings, James Gray of Berea, Alonzo Gray of McKee, Sally Lee and Hazel Smith both of Manchester.

In addition to his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by the following siblings, Oscar Gray, Bill Gray, Elmer Gray, Mary Gooch, Helen Willis, Verdlain Frazier, Elsie Mae Matthews and Nancy Gray.

Larry had been a preacher for 50 plus years, spreading the word of God. His greatest blessing was his grandchildren. He loved raising a garden, hunting and playing his guitar and singing.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Big Hill Holiness Church with Bro. Steve Isaacs, Bro. Dwight Northern and Bro. Paul Hensley officiating. Burial to follow in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery. Pallbearers: Elmer Rader, Mike Gray, Keith Isaacs, Ricky Isaacs, John Hite and Spencer Powell. Honorary pallbearers: Randy Hutchins, Garvin Baker, Darrell Combs and the men of Big Hill Holiness Church.

Visitation will begin 6:00 PM Thursday at the church.

Joyce Farmer, 78, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away May 3, 2026, at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Born in Manchester, Kentucky, she moved to Princeton in 1972 and lived there many years before recently residing in Paducah with her son and daughter-in-law.

Joyce was a caring and compassionate woman who held her family together. She loved her grandchildren dearly and spoke of them often. She also loved to celebrate and never missed a chance to have a party, bringing joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Mary Standafer.

Survivors include two sons, David Farmer (Kristi) of Paducah and Steven Farmer of Princeton; one brother, Frank Standafer (Mary Jo) of Nicholasville; three grandchildren, Amy Hallum (Tristan), Jackie Farmer, and Ian Farmer; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, at 12:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.

Joyce’s love and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
