Meet Chloe Parks, LCSW💚

Manchester has always been home for Chloe. Now she’s bringing her experience as a school-based counselor to a new practice in the community she loves.

Chloe spent six years supporting children and adolescents at Cumberland River Behavioral Health. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in July 2025, after practicing as a CSW. She has experience helping young people and families with anxiety, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and behavioral concerns.

For Chloe, good care starts with listening, building trust, and helping people feel supported. She hopes to make it easier for patients to connect with the care and resources they need.

Outside of work, you might find Chloe reading, cooking, making crafts, enjoying the lake, or spending time with her family and pets. And she’s always up for a good shopping trip or a weekend of binge-watching TV.

We’re glad Chloe is part of the Manchester community and look forward to the relationships she’ll build here.

Costumes, games, treats and plenty of smiles filled the evening at last night’s Team Member Fall Festival.

Our departments brought their creativity with outstanding decorations and costumes, while team members and their families enjoyed time together. Thank you to everyone who helped create such a fun and memorable night for our team members and their children.

Last week our CEO, Nick Bejarano, presented trophies to the champions and runners-up and recognized the All-Tournament Team at the 2026 AdventHealth 49th District Volleyball Championship. Congratulations to all the student-athletes on their hard work, dedication and sportsmanship!

More than 25 community members joined us for Pamper with a Purpose, an evening that brought self-care and an important conversation together.

Guest speaker Robin Hensley spoke about her journey with breast cancer, Judy Thompson spoke on the importance of mammograms and Brandy Napier led the class in making homemade sugar scrubs and roll-on aromatherapy oils.

Thank you to the UK Extension Office, Robin, Brandy, Judy and everyone who helped made the evening possible.

Pink with a purpose 🩷

Today, on National Mammography Day, our team members wore pink to share an important reminder: Mammograms can find breast cancer early, before it can be felt or causes symptoms.

The right time to begin screening can depend on your age, health history and breast cancer risk. Talk with your health care provider about when and how often you should have a mammogram.

For 55 years, AdventHealth Manchester has been here to help our neighbors feel whole and live healthier lives. We celebrated that commitment at our Emerald Gala with community partners and local leaders and shared a wonderful meal along the way.

More advanced surgical care is coming closer to home for patients in Manchester and surrounding communities.

The AdventHealth Manchester Foundation has received a grant through the Kentucky Division of Abandoned Mine Lands Economic Revitalization Program to support the addition of a da Vinci 5 surgical system at AdventHealth Manchester.

This investment will help expand local surgical capabilities and give physicians more options for minimally invasive procedures. Most importantly, it can help more patients receive advanced care without traveling far from home and the people who support them.

We are grateful for this investment in the health and well-being of our community and for the opportunity to continue our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.

A summer can shape a future.

This summer, 60 Lake County high school students stepped into hospital life through AdventHealth Waterman’s Teen Summer Volunteer Program, serving patients and discovering more about where their own paths might lead.

For some, it confirmed a future in health care. For others, it simply meant growing confidence, finding purpose and learning the power of showing up for someone else.

Nine weeks. 60 students. A lot of possibilities.

For Ofelia Mendoza, those simple connections helped make the transition home feel a little easier.

Through a partnership with Senior Resource Alliance and Renacer Foundation, AdventHealth is helping older adults access resources that support independence, connection and continued healing at home.

It’s a powerful example of what can happen when health care and local organizations come together to care for the whole person.
