Story: One of the residents favorite thing to do is crafting with paint. Harley our new Activity Assistant had the residents painting wooden pumpkins while listening to their favorite music.

Activity: Sock Hop

Story: The residents had so much fun today going down memory lane with music from the sixties with DJ Johnny Hand. We had coke and root b**r floats along with laughter, clapping and dancing. This will be one of their favorite activities in months to come.

We had an exciting time celebrating our two best bosses ever at Autumn Oaks. Tina and Alicia mean the world to us and we all pitched in to give them gifts and snacks. They go above and beyond to keep it a wonderful place to work and we couldn’t ask for a better family oriented place. Tina has been through so much but keeps on being the professional she is. Alicia she never stops. I believe she works around the clock. Anyway, thank you two so much for all you do and who you are. We love y’all so very much.

Activity: Football party and trivia on the porch
Story: There are so many residents that absolutely love football season and with us having trivia I could tell they knew more about football 🏈 then I did. We had football games and Tostitos with salsa and cheese dip and cookies with juice and cokes.

Activity: We had a really good time Friday with our Month ending having fun with a seventies day filled with fun and style!!!

Story:
Today we dressed in the seventies and enjoyed interacting with the residents, “and some of them dressing up” with pictures, trivia, music and good food. It is such a great feeling to see them happy and enjoying themselves.
