Case of the Day! 🩺 A sneak peek inside the OR!
This case involved split-level disc herniations requiring two separate incisions at the front of the neck to access and treat the affected discs.

The discs were removed, and the bones were stabilized using cages and plates. Two open discs remain between the fused levels, helping preserve mobility and flexibility.

The goal? Long-lasting relief from neck pain and nerve pain radiating into the arms and hands! 🩻🩺🥼

Another day in the OR 🩺🔍 Here’s a sneak peek inside an ACDF procedure.
Sometimes, damaged discs in the neck need to be removed to relieve pain and restore stability. During an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), the damaged disc is removed and implants are placed to stabilize the spine. Over time, the bones grow together and fuse into a stable position.
