Children receiving therapy love our climbing wall, trampoline and ball pit. We also have multiple swings to assist with the use of sensory integration theory. Our Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapists have received specialized training using a variety of therapeutic techniques. These include but are not limited to, Sensory Integrative, Neuromuscular, and Neurodevelopmental approaches. At Building Blocks, we often strive to use a sensory integrative approach. We have found that this helps, not only with children with sensory processing difficulties, but also with children with language and speech delays.
