👻🎃 **A little education and fun Cincinnati Fear Fest ** 🎃👻

Not too long ago First In, Last Out CPR & First Aid LLC had the opportunity to teach many of the outstanding people, characters and friends at Fear Fest for the upcoming haunts 😀

Sometimes it's nice to step away from the everyday normal routine, make some memories, meet new people and also educate at the same time. Also enjoy a few scares along the way! 😂

We had a great time at Cincinnati Fear Fest! Good company, plenty of laughs, and just enough scares to keep things interesting!

October is Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month, and the numbers are sobering. Every year, more than 350,000 people in the U.S. suffer a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital. Most survive only if someone nearby acts fast. Immediate CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival.

Today was one of those days that just fills your cup.

Started the morning with skills checks for two awesome students, and we even had a new instructor jump in and help out — love seeing the team grow.

After that, we took the rest of the day to enjoy some incredible music from my all‑time favorite band, AFI. (Yes… for everyone who’s known me forever, they officially beat TOOL out a couple years ago.)

Even ran into a student and the rest of the Despair Faction — always amazing people and even better friends.Hope everyone is having a great night. Live in the moment and enjoy the life to the fullest.

We don’t judge people — ever.

Not for their politics, not for their religion, and definitely not for their addiction. Addiction is exactly that: addiction. Whether it’s coffee, gum, tea, food, or drugs, it doesn’t matter.

What matters is that if someone wants help — or needs help — I’ll always be there.Narcan saves lives by reversing the respiratory effects of an opioid overdose. I’m grateful to see it being made available to the community. Every life is worth protecting, and every person deserves compassion, dignity, and to continue being on this earth. Everyone person in this world has a purpose and a meaning.

The University of Cincinnati and Hamilton County are expanding efforts to prevent fatal opioid overdoses by putting free Narcan and fentanyl test strips in neighborhoods.

Afternoon everyone 🙂

We’ve been super busy lately, but we’re finally able to share an update!Since the inception of First In, Last Out CPR & First Aid (FILO), our goal has always been to train, educate, and create enjoyable, interactive classes.

Every session we teach is designed to be fun and engaging — no matter your age or background.Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with scout troops and their leaders, as well as healthcare professionals ranging from techs and STNAs to nurses, doctors, and specialists like cardiologists and gastroenterologists.

Last week, we had the honor of teaching safety, CPR, and First Aid to participants in The Hangout Group’s “Stepping Into Success Program " The Hangout Group/You've Got This LLC

It was an awesome experience as always! We’ve been fortunate to return many times to work with both campers and caretakers — always a great group and always a fun class.Thank you for inviting us back this year 🙌

**Good evening everyone! 😊**

I hope everyone is having a great evening and enjoying the weekend!

Today's classes at **First In, Last Out CPR** started with **Basic Life Support (BLS)** for students working toward their healthcare degrees. It's always exciting to help prepare the next generation of healthcare providers.

After that, we got to teach one of my absolute favorite classes—**Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)** along with our **Heartsaver Total** course.

We had **four awesome young ladies** attend today, and they were absolute **rockstars!** 🌟 They worked hard, asked great questions, and are now better prepared to begin babysitting with the confidence and skills to respond to a wide variety of emergencies.

Thank you all so much for spending your day with us. We know you'll do amazing things, and we're proud to have been a small part of your journey.
