In June 2018, our founder, Mayra Sanchez, LPC, had a clear vision: to open a women-owned practice that offers accessible and quality mental health care to our community.

Eight years later, we are eternally grateful to have an incredible and dedicated team that brings this vision to life every single day, serving our clients with the utmost compassion and excellence.

Finding Peace in Uncertain Times

The world is heavy right now. If you find yourself scrolling late into the night, overwhelmed by the news, the changes, and the uncertainty, you’re not alone. It’s natural to feel anxious when everything feels out of control.

But in these moments, I encourage you to pause.

🌿 Breathe – A deep breath in, a slow breath out. Ground yourself in the present.
🌿 Unplug – Set limits on your screen time, especially before bed. Protect your peace.
🌿 Connect – Talk to someone who reminds you that you are not alone. Community heals.
🌿 Take Action – Even small steps—volunteering, voting, advocating—help shift helplessness into empowerment.
🌿 Give Yourself Grace – You are doing your best in a world that is constantly shifting. That is enough.

In times of uncertainty, self-care is not a luxury; it’s a necessity. You deserve rest. You deserve peace. You deserve care.

What’s one thing you can do today to protect your mental health? Let’s support each other. 💙

El mundo pesa mucho en este momento. Si te encuentras desplazándote por las noticias hasta altas horas de la noche, sintiéndote abrumado por los cambios y la incertidumbre, no estás solo. Es natural sentir ansiedad cuando todo parece fuera de control.

Pero en estos momentos, te animo a pausar.

🌿 Respira – Inhala profundo, exhala lentamente. Anclate en el presente.
🌿 Desconéctate – Limita tu tiempo frente a la pantalla, especialmente antes de dormir. Protege tu paz.
🌿 Conéctate – Habla con alguien que te recuerde que no estás solo. La comunidad sana.
🌿 Toma Acción – Incluso pequeños pasos—como ser voluntario, votar o abogar—pueden transformar la impotencia en empoderamiento.
