Beginning therapy can be difficult as you’re unsure what to expect. Here at Hope for Healing, we understand that healing is not linear.

Sometimes healing doesn't feel like healing, and that's okay.

Here are a few signs you're healing, even when it doesn't seem like it:

💙 You stop avoiding your thoughts and emotions, allowing yourself to process what you've been carrying instead of pushing it away.

💙 You're unlearning protective habits that once helped you survive. That takes immense energy, patience, and time. Your body is no longer living in constant hypervigilance, so you may find yourself needing more rest during this transition. Rest is part of healing-not a setback.

💙 Setting boundaries feels uncomfortable. If you've spent years putting everyone else first, choosing yourself can feel unfamiliar. That discomfort doesn't mean you're doing something wrong-it often means you're doing something different.

We know that life doesn’t always follow a schedule.

At Hope for Healing we offer Same Day Appointments for both Individual and Couples Counseling.

Here is how it works:
📍 Counselor Availability: Same-day sessions are available with select counselors. Please keep in mind that availability varies daily, and not all clinicians are available every day for immediate bookings.

💳 Payment & Insurance:
Individual Counseling: Covered by select insurance plans or Private Pay.

Couples Counseling: Private Pay only.

Please note: Each counselor accepts different insurance providers; we will verify your benefits and coverage when you call!

📞 Booking Your Session: To ensure you are seen, all same-day appointments must be scheduled by phone. While walk-ins are not guaranteed, we will work to get you on the schedule as soon as possible.

The Right Fit: Your well-being is our priority. If we find we aren’t the best match for your specific needs, we are committed to helping you find the right resources to get the support you deserve.
