Produce straight from our garden is being used and enjoyed at Cafe 100! 🍅🥒

We’re thankful we get to enjoy garden-fresh goodness at Messiah Lifeways! Thanks to Chef Scott’s hard work and green thumb, the tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and cucumbers served at Café 100 are all homegrown right here on campus. 🌱🍅

Nearly all of our bluebird houses on the Messiah Village campus have been adopted by one resident or a team of residents responsible for their care—with 19 residents signing up to help nurture these homes for our feathered neighbors. 🌿 We were thrilled to welcome a member from We Conserve PA for an orientation to get everyone started. What a beautiful example of our community's commitment to caring for creation, right here in our own backyard!

This year marks 130 years of our mission of serving older adults with Christ-like love, and this milestone wouldn’t be possible without the people who breathe life into who we are and what we do. 🫶

As we reflect with gratitude on the last 130 years, we extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to each and every one of you for being a valuable part of the history and future of Messiah Lifeways.
