Lately, I’ve been intentionally trying to slow down.
And honestly, it feels a little ironic because I’m currently in one of the busiest seasons of life I’ve ever experienced.
Not because my to-do list is shorter (it’s not).
Not because life suddenly became less busy (it didn’t).
But because I’ve realized that if I don’t intentionally make space for the things that matter, they can easily get lost in the busyness.
As someone who spends every day talking about health, nutrition, hormones, and wellness, I’ve been reminded that health is about so much more than what we eat or how we exercise.
It’s also about creating space.
Space to breathe.
Space to think and pray.
Space to notice the sunset.
Space to watch the grass sway in the wind.
Space to appreciate the people we love and the life we’re building.
Chronic stress impacts nearly every system in the body. It influences our sleep, hormones, digestion, recovery, energy, and even our ability to make healthy choices.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do isn’t push harder.
It’s slow down long enough to notice.
Today, I noticed the wildflowers, the way the water moved across my feet in the river, the way the grass danced in the wind and that extra twinkle in eyes when those I love laugh and smile!

Make my morning coffee with me ☕️
I’ve shared this in stories a few times over the years, but it has been such a long time favorite that I wanted to permanently save it here on the feed. It’s so delicious, frothy, comforting, and comes in at roughly 100 calories with 10g of protein.
Here’s how I make it:
First, pick your perfect mug. This one is from and is one of my favorites.
Next, your coffee. I used to spend so much money on fancy coffee until I found this inexpensive but delicious Organic Medium Roast from .
Then everything goes into the blender:
☕️ Roughly 12 oz coffee
🌿 1 drop peppermint essential oil
🤍 1 packet stevia
🍫 1 scoop Chocolate Collagen Powder (a full serving is 2 scoops or 20g protein) for 10g protein
🥛 3 tablespoons organic half and half
Blend it all together for frothy goodness and enjoy.
You can absolutely swap the half and half for something like Nutpods or another dairy free creamer if you want to keep the fat a little lower or reduce dairy, but honestly... I just love half and half.
