September is Self-Care Month 💙

Self-care can look different for everyone. It might be taking a quiet moment, getting outside, spending time with loved ones, enjoying a favorite hobby, or simply giving yourself time to recharge.

Taking care of yourself is an important part of being there for others. Take a little time for yourself this month—you deserve it. 💙

This August, we’re celebrating Karen and the genuine care she brings to every client she supports. ❤️

Karen enjoys spending time with clients doing the things they enjoy, having fun, and making each day a little brighter. Her advice to new caregivers? Listen to your client, learn what makes them happy, and have fun together!

She also reminds us that caregiving isn’t always about filling the silence—sometimes, simply being present and listening is enough.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys walking, going to the beach, riding her bike, and spending time with her daughter, husband, and cats. 🐾

We appreciate Karen for always being genuine, herself, and bringing that authenticity into the care she provides. Thank you for being an Angel, Karen! 💙

Grief doesn’t follow a straight path. ❤️‍🩹

This Grief Awareness Day, we’re recognizing that everyone experiences loss differently. There is no “right” way to grieve, and every stage can look and feel different from person to person.

Let’s lead with patience, compassion, and understanding—for ourselves and for those around us. 💙

We’re so happy to celebrate Ruth as our Angel of the Month in July! 💙

Ruth loves being a caregiver because she enjoys spending time with older adults. She brings so much patience, love, and compassion to the care she provides, always making sure her clients feel cared for and never alone.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys reading the Bible and books, listening to music, watching the news, and spending time with her family. 📖🎶❤️

We especially appreciate Ruth’s willingness to jump in at the last minute to help other clients. She is always kind, caring, and ready to lend a helping hand when needed!

Her words of wisdom say it all:
“When you love someone, you can do anything for them.” ❤️

Thank you, Ruth, for all the love and care you give! We’re so lucky to have you as part of our Visiting Angels family! 🌟

Today is a reminder that you don’t have to do something big to make a difference. A kind word, a helping hand, or simply being there for someone can mean so much.

Let’s spread a little kindness today and every day. Be an angel to someone who needs one! 👼✨
