Our New Bus Driver
We are pleased to welcome Rich Kaufman, our new bus driver.
He is a longtime resident of the Media/Delco area. Rich was a carpenter for 34 years and recently retired in 2026 from the Rose Tree Media School District, where he served as a school bus driver for 12 years.
His great enjoyment for 60 years has been motorcycling, traveling 700 miles cross-country. He and his daughter love the Phillies and Penn State and are avid fans.
Rich has made a favorable impression with our residents, who praise his professional and kind ways. “He was so personable and made my visit to the doctor fun!”
We look forward to a great relationship with Rich, Rose Tree, and our residents alike.

Today's Watermark University Class took us on an incredible journey around the world with Gloria!
Gloria has traveled to so many azaning places, and she shared stories and memories from her adventures. She even brought along a wonderful collection pf rocks she gathered from her travels in Costa Rica, Brazil, Hawaii and the Canary Islands!
Our residents enjoyed learning about the different places she visited, hearing about her experiences, and getting to see these special pieces of the world up close.

Getting older doesn't mean giving up the things that bring us joy. ❤️

A social video series called Like Old Times is helping older adults revisit hobbies, passions and experiences they haven't enjoyed in years, from returning to the baseball diamond to reconnecting with longtime interests.

It's a beautiful reminder that the things we love don't have an expiration date.

Watermark University Class - All About Bees
Our residents had a wonderful and educational visit from local beekeeper Warren who brought along his bees and some delicious honey! He shared fascinating information about raising bees, how they make honey, and the important role bees play in our environment.

He also shared stories about his life at Ridley Creek State Park and brought in several interesting items from the park for us to see and learn about.

Our residents had a fantastic time at People's Light Theater, enjoying the lively musical "Ain't Misbehavin'!" was a wonderful afternoon filled with music, laughter, and great company. We love creating memorable experiences together!

What a fantastic day on the water! Our residents enjoyed a guided pontoon boat ride at Marsh Creek, where they spotted beautiful wildlife and watched fellow adventurers sailing, paddleboarding, and fishing. And we finished up with some delicious ice cream for all! "

Homemade Watermelon Ice Cream Fun!
Our residents had a sweet time creating a delicious homemade frozen treat! We started with a frozen watermelon, added milk and sweetened condensed milk, then scraped and mixed everything together to make the most refreshing watermelon ice cream.
There were lots of smiles, laughter. and of course, plenty of taste-testing! Everyone enjoyed this fun, hands-on activity, and the homemade ice cream was a huge hit. It's amazing how few simple ingredients can create such a refreshing summer treat and wonderful memories together!

Big Band Night at Rose Tree Place!
What an absolutely fantastic evening we had at Rose Tree Place! Our residents, families, friends and guests enjoyed an incredible night featuring the 18-piece American Legacy Big Band formerly known as Archie Lane's Big Band.
The Band had everyone tapping their toes and enjoying the sounds of the big band era! And they ended the evening with a crowd favorite "In the Mood"!

Our residents has a sweet time celebrating Ice Cream Day with fun and informative Watermark University Class from Joy! Her Class "Here's the Scoop" was filled with fascinating history, fun trivia and interesting facts about one of everyone's favorite treats.
Of course, no ice cream program would be complete without a delicious taste test!
