WAIT… HOW IS THIS THE LAST FULL WEEK OF SUMMER?!

We still have a little summer left to squeeze every bit of fun out of—and you KNOW we will! But before we turn the page to fall, we thought we’d take a minute to look back at all the fun, laughter, sunshine, and memories we packed into these past few months.

🎶 Summer Concert Series
🍔 Our Annual Picnic
🍦 An Ice Cream Truck Visit
🐾 Many (MANY!) Dog Visits
☀️ Walks on Warm Summer Days
🚲 Trishaw Bike Rides
🎉 Holiday Parties
🌈 Tie-Dye Tuesdays
🎂 Birthday Celebrations
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Lots of Family Visits
🍽️ And SO. MUCH. GREAT. FOOD! 😋

And then there are all those little moments that don't make it onto a list—the conversations around the table, the laughs in the hallway, the smiles during a visit, sitting outside on a beautiful afternoon, and simply enjoying time together.

Those are the moments that make a summer special.

So, we're going to soak up this LAST FULL WEEK OF SUMMER 2026 and make a few more memories before fall officially arrives! 🍂

Today, we celebrate the grandparents who have filled our lives with love, wisdom, laughter, stories, and memories that last a lifetime. ❤️

At The Willows, we are especially grateful for the wonderful grandparents who call our home theirs. Your stories, smiles, experiences, and personalities make our days brighter, and we are so lucky to celebrate YOU!

Here’s to the grandparents who have shaped generations, created countless memories, and continue to make a difference every single day.

There are certain moments in history that we never forget. September 11, 2001, is one of them.

We all remember where we were, who we were with, and how our world seemed to change in an instant.

Today, we pause to remember the innocent lives we lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger while others ran to safety.

Remembering those we lost and honoring the courage that carried us through.

May we never forget the lives, the bravery, the sacrifice, and the incredible strength of a nation that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

As this week begins, we want to give a massive shout-out to the incredible individuals who bring joy, comfort, and vital care to our seniors both in our communities and here at The Willows. 🏠✨

This week is all about honoring the rich life stories of our residents and the tireless dedication of the staff who support them. From everyday moments to lifelong memories, their light truly shines through the years.

The staff here at The Willows treats our residents as if they're family and that level of care, and love, shows! We believe that our staff is what differentiates us from just another facility to a warm, loving home.
