We offer Massage therapy, Reiki, skin care, waxing, and tanning with an Esthetician (Brooke Melrose with Melrose Esthetics). We have had lots of experience with different injuries, chronic conditions, and relaxation techniques on all types of people. Try one of our services: TMJ massage, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Deep tissue, Focused Massage for specific issues, Therapeutic Relaxation, Craniosacral, Pre-natal, Couples Massage in our large treatment room, and stretching. Other techniques may be incorporated as needed. Such as, Trigger Point, Myofascial, Guasha, Cupping, Micro-current Point Stimulation (MPS). Most appointments are between 45 and 90mins. Have a laugh…because it’s Monday. Stollen from a group we are in. There’s definitely some truth to this! 😆:

I had a realization the other day that after 27+ years as a massage therapist, I may no longer be fit for normal social interaction. 😂

A friend was telling me about her absolutely disastrous marriage. Cheating, lying, financial problems, the whole nine yards.

And while she’s pouring her heart out, I’m looking at her posture, wondering if her right shoulder has always been that elevated.

She starts crying.

I’m thinking, “Jesus Christ, her scalenes must be a mess.”

She tells me her husband has been sleeping with someone from work.

I ask, “How long has that been going on?”

She says, “About six months.”

And my first thought?

“Well, that explains the headaches.”

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH ME? 🤣

At some point in this career, your brain starts seeing everyone as a collection of dysfunctional body parts with unresolved childhood trauma.

I can’t hug someone without assessing their thoracic mobility.

I can’t sit behind someone at a restaurant without wanting to fix their forward head posture.

And God forbid someone tells me they’re having chest pain. Half my brain is screaming, “CALL 911!” while the other half is mentally reviewing the attachments of pectoralis minor.

I used to be a normal person. I think.

Anyway, my friend is getting divorced, and I’m pretty sure she needs some suboccipital work.

Please tell me this profession has permanently damaged someone else’s ability to function in polite society. 😂
