Wow! 713 community members. That's how many people joined us at this year's Back to School Health Fair! We planned for around 400 attendees at our Back to School Health Fair, but by the end of the day, 713 community members came out! Thank you for showing up, supporting one another, and making this year's event such an incredible success.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The rain stayed away, the heat wasn't unbearable, and it was a great day to spend together as a community.

A huge thank you to every volunteer, vendor, community partner, and staff member who gave their time and talents to make this event possible. We truly couldn't have done it without you. Your generosity helped create a day filled with health resources, school supplies, smiles, and memories for hundreds of local families.

If you joined us this weekend, we hope you had as much fun as we did!

And remember, while the Back to School Health Fair may be over, we're here for your family all year long. Whether you or your child still needs a school physical, a dental exam, or a medical home for ongoing care, Memphis Health Center is here to help.

Memphis Health Center is offering FREE Behavioral Health Small Groups designed to help young people build confidence, process difficult emotions, and develop healthy coping skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Big Feelings, Big Skills (Ages 5-8)

Children will learn:
- Develop coping skills
- Emotion recognition
- Calming strategies
- Deep breathing

Calm & Confident Kids (Ages 9–12)

Children will learn to:
-Understand their emotions
-Manage big feelings
-Build self-esteem
-Navigate school and friendships with confidence

Forever in My Heart (Ages 13–18)

A grief and loss support group where teens can:
-Connect with peers who understand
-Learn healthy coping skills
-Express emotions safely
-Build hope and resilience
