It has been a busy Mental Health Month for our Samaritan team! Over the past few weeks, we have had the privilege of witnessing something powerful: what happens when communities choose to invest in hope, healing, and opportunity.
We celebrated alongside graduates of the Starting Point program at Fox Valley Technical College, honoring women who are courageously building brighter futures for themselves and their families. Samaritan is proud to partner in supporting mental wellness along that journey.
We were also deeply honored to attend the Violet Society Luncheon, where we received support from the Walker Family Foundation for Samaritan Wellness Screen. Early mental health identification and intervention can change the trajectory of a young person’s life, and we are grateful for partners who believe in that mission.
At the Women’s Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community FoundationPower of the Purse Luncheon we celebrated the power of community and were encouraged to LOOK UP and set healthier boundaries with social media and technology.
At the Women's Fund for the Fox Valley Region Spotlight Event, we were reminded again of the incredible impact that collective generosity can have in our communities. We are especially thankful to have received funding to support new single parent support groups designed to create connection, encouragement, and practical support for parents navigating incredibly full lives.
These events were more than luncheons and ceremonies. They were reminders that when communities come together with compassion and purpose, people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
To every partner, funder, advocate, and supporter walking alongside us: thank you for helping Samaritan continue to connect mind, body, and spirit so individuals, families, organizations, and communities can thrive.
