Leaving residential treatment can bring a mix of hope, excitement, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Returning to familiar routines can feel overwhelming after spending time focused on healing.

Remember: going home doesn’t mean your healing journey is over. Continuing care can help you apply what you learned in treatment while adjusting to everyday life.

At Sequoia Behavioral Health, we believe you don’t have to navigate that transition alone.

It’s normal to feel uncertain about the future. But when worries become difficult to control, they can make it hard to stay present and enjoy your life.

Anxiety about the future can lead to constant “what if” thinking, worst-case scenarios, and a need to predict or control what happens next. At Sequoia Behavioral Health, we help you understand what’s behind your anxiety and develop healthier ways to navigate uncertainty.

You don’t have to face the future alone.

Social media can be a powerful tool for connection. But why can it feel so difficult to step away?

Many platforms are designed to keep your attention through features that encourage repeated use. Over time, this can impact your mood, increase stress, and make it harder to stay connected to what matters most.

At Sequoia Behavioral Health, we help individuals understand the patterns affecting their mental health and build healthier ways to cope.

Meet Tyler!

As Executive Director of Sequoia Behavioral Health, he works to create a place where people feel encouraged to take the first step toward meaningful change.

Having experienced addiction and treatment firsthand, Tyler understands how difficult it can be to ask for help. That perspective shapes the way he leads Sequoia and supports every individual who walks through the door. His goal is to create a place where people feel encouraged, respected, and empowered to make lasting changes.

When he's not at Sequoia, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family and embracing his favorite role as a dad.
