A robot is helping an ailing couple stay in their home. Are more to come for an aging population?

The decades-long quest to build home robots that are both helpful and lifelike — spurred on by fictional machines like The Jetsons’ humanoid maid Rosie —- is still mostly a pipe dream, but some developers are getting closer.

Inclusion should never be optional.

A recent lawsuit involving the Artists Association of Nantucket raises serious questions about disability access, workplace retaliation, and whether neurodivergent students are being treated fairly in public programs.

Every child deserves the chance to learn, create, and participate — without being made to feel like they do not belong.

Art should open doors, not close them.

Health awareness for a better life
Your body is always talking — the question is, are we listening?

Cholesterol. Blood pressure. Diabetes. Thyroid disease. Acid reflux. Breathing problems. Pain. Depression. Anxiety.

These are some of the most common health issues people face every day, and many of them can grow quietly before they become serious.

Awareness is not fear — it is power.

Check in with your body. Keep up with regular checkups. Ask questions. Get support early. Small steps today can protect your health tomorrow.

Fresh air, fresh produce, and a great reason to get out into the community!

Local farmers markets are returning across the Merrimack Valley this summer, including the North Andover Farmers Market behind Town Hall at 120 Main St., running Sundays from 10 AM–1 PM, June 21 through October 4. Nearby markets are also opening in Andover, Haverhill, Tewksbury, and Wakefield.

For seniors, caregivers, and families, farmers markets are more than a place to shop — they are a chance to enjoy the season, support local farms, pick up fresh foods, and stay connected with the community.
