Last Wednesday, we felt the wrath of the earth.
Venezuela was shaken to its core, and so were we.

There is something about loss that asks us to find each other. To gather, to be in the same room, breathing the same air, feeling the same thing together.
Because some things are too big to feel alone.

This is the best way i know how to show up right now.
Music as prayer.
Sound as medicine.
Community as the answer.

I am hosting a benefit concert for earthquake relief in Venezuela, and every donation will go directly to families and trusted relief efforts on the ground.

If you have a Venezuelan in your life, if this land or this culture as ever touched you in any way, if you simply want to show up for people in real need right now, we need you here.
Every heart is welcome.

We cannot always control what the earth does, but we can control how we hold each other when it does.

El miercoles pasado, sentimos la furia de la tierra.
Venezuela fue sacudida hasta su centro, y nosotros tambien.
Hay algo en la perdida que nos pide reunirnos.
Estar juntos, sintiendo lo mismo. Porque hay cosas demasiado grandes para sentirlas solos.
Esta es la mejor manera que conozco de estar presente ahora mismo.
Musica como oracion.
Sonido como medicina.
Comunidad como respuesta.

Estoy organizando un concierto benefico para las victimas del terremoto en Venezuela. Cada donacion ira directamente a las familias y esfuerzos humanitarios en el terreno.
