Some patients feel extra sensitive for a while after a breast augmentation, and it typically settles anywhere from one week to six months out. Loss of sensation is documented in the literature, and he’s honest that it can’t be ruled out, but it isn’t something he’s seen in his patients.

Can you go from flat-chested to a D cup in one surgery? 🤔

Sometimes, but not always. Our talented Dr. Hunsaker explains that how much size you can safely place the first time depends on your natural dimensions and on how tight the tissue in front of the implant is. The tighter the tissue, the more limited the projection in round one.

The good news? After about a year, the tissue relaxes and stretches. That often allows an even bigger jump with a second procedure. For bigger goals, a staged approach can be the smartest way to get there. ✨
