Help your child build the skills they need to feel more organized, focused, independent, and confident at school and beyond!

Our Think, Plan & Do Camp, led by our Occupational Therapists, uses hands-on activities, games, and movement-based learning to strengthen important executive functioning and self-regulation skills in a fun and supportive environment. 💙💚

Children will work on:
🧠 Self-Regulation — impulse control, emotional regulation & flexible thinking
📋 Executive Functioning — planning, organization, time management, working memory & task completion
📚 Learning Skills — attention, following multi-step directions & organizing schoolwork and materials

🍂 October 14th – November 4th

Our Social Skills Group is designed to help children strengthen the skills they need to make friends, communicate effectively, and feel more confident in social situations! 💙💚

Led by our Speech-Language Pathologists, children will practice important social skills in a fun, supportive environment, including:

🤝 Building friendships & starting conversations
💬 Listening, sharing ideas & expressing feelings
👀 Reading and understanding social cues
⭐ Taking turns & engaging with others

Every summer, we are proud to welcome college students who are exploring careers in Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology. Through hands-on experiences, observation opportunities, and mentorship, these amazing volunteers gain a deeper understanding of what it means to make a difference in the lives of children and families.

We love helping inspire the next generation of therapists and are grateful for the energy, compassion, and dedication they bring to Children in Motion each year.
