Every summer, we are proud to welcome college students who are exploring careers in Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology. Through hands-on experiences, observation opportunities, and mentorship, these amazing volunteers gain a deeper understanding of what it means to make a difference in the lives of children and families.

We love helping inspire the next generation of therapists and are grateful for the energy, compassion, and dedication they bring to Children in Motion each year.

At Children In Motion, we’re proud to be led by two incredible clinicians who are passionate about helping children grow, learn, and thrive. 💙

👩‍⚕️ Katherine, our Occupational Therapy Director, brings over 25 years of experience supporting children across a variety of settings. With her expertise in sensory integration, motor development, and independence skills, she is dedicated to helping every child reach their fullest potential.

🗣 Miyuki, our Speech-Language Therapy Director, is a bilingual SLP with extensive experience in early intervention, school-based services, and beyond. Her passion for communication and individualized care helps children build confidence and find their voice.

Together, they lead our team with knowledge, compassion, and a shared commitment to providing the highest quality care for every child and family we serve. ✨

Samantha recently passed her Praxis exam and is now a Speech-Language Pathologist, marking an exciting milestone in her journey! 🎉 She is passionate about helping children strengthen their speech, language, and communication skills in ways that are fun, engaging, and meaningful.

Through creative activities, play-based learning, and individualized therapy, Samantha works closely with children and their families to support communication, confidence, and success both in and out of the classroom. We’re excited to introduce Samantha Pastor, CF-SLP, a valued member of the Children In Motion team! ✨

Samantha is a Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology, currently completing the final stage of her training to become a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She is passionate about helping children strengthen their speech, language, and communication skills in ways that are fun, engaging, and meaningful.

Through creative activities, play-based learning, and individualized therapy, Samantha works closely with children and their families to support communication, confidence, and success both in and out of the classroom. Her warm and encouraging approach helps children feel comfortable while working toward their goals.

We’re so happy to have Samantha as part of the Children In Motion family and look forward to watching her continue to grow in her career! 💬🌟
