Today we were honored to welcome Dr. Michael Alessandri and Jennifer Durocher from the University of Miami Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-Card) to the Friendship Campus! 💙

It was wonderful having the opportunity to give them a tour, share more about the work happening across our campus, and talk about the ways we can continue building connections and strengthening resources for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout our community.

We are so grateful for their time, partnership, and commitment to the South Florida autism community. We look forward to all the possibilities ahead! 💙🤝

At Friendship Circle Miami, we call our volunteers the center of our circle-and this summer, they truly lived up to that name. 💙
Over the course of 5 incredible weeks, more than 30 dedicated volunteers gave their hearts and over 40 hours each week to be paired with our participants. Their kindness, patience, and commitment created friendships that will last far beyond camp.

Every Thursday, we gathered for a special 30-minute volunteer session filled with treats, laughter, and icebreakers. Each week was a new activity, and our volunteers loved it!

To our amazing teens: thank you for showing up, leading with compassion, and making every moment count.

Both New and Returning Teen Volunteers are required to attend our annual volunteer Kickoff.

The woman behind that incredible smile is our very own Board Member, whose heart for inclusion and unwavering commitment continue to create lasting change for individuals with disabilities and their families.
