🐴 Meet Gus — Hope Therapy’s little giant with a big heart.
At just under 3 feet tall, our miniature horse Gus is the perfect partner for our smallest riders. He’s patient, gentle, a little mischievous, and completely devoted to the kids who need him most.
Gus helps little ones who may be nervous around bigger horses feel safe. He lets them groom him, walk beside him, and — for many of our tiniest clients — take their very first rides. We can begin therapy with children as young as 2, and Gus is often the first horse they meet.
There’s something special about watching a toddler’s face light up when they realize this little horse is their size… and completely on their side.
Thank you, Gus, for being the bridge that helps our youngest riders find confidence, balance, and joy — one small step (and one big nicker) at a time.
