We believe purpose doesn’t retire—it evolves.
Every day, we encourage and support our residents in continuing the things that bring them joy and meaning. Whether it’s lifelong hobbies like painting, making fishing lures, gardening, crafting, music, golfing, or even lending a hand with cleaning and organizing, those passions still matter here.
And it doesn’t stop there—many of our residents are discovering new purpose in fresh ways. From joining our book club and decorating committee, to ministering to peers or becoming resident volunteers, there are so many opportunities to stay connected, valued, and fulfilled. We are dedicated to making sure each resident’s interests, talents, and sense of purpose are supported and celebrated—because life here isn’t about slowing down, it’s about continuing to grow in new and meaningful ways. 🌼

Nursing Home Week at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center concluded with a HeeHaw Theme. A talented HeeHaw Skit was presented by our skilled residents, followed by pianists showcasing their expertise, a beautiful yodeling voice, square dancing, and finished out in a variety show featuring staff participation.
