Located on the Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia border in Middlesboro, KY., Middlesboro ARH was the first Kentucky hospital to open in the Appalachian Regional Healthcare system more than 60 years ago. A Harlan, Kentucky, native, Kristy loves the people of Harlan and Middlesboro. Caring for familiar faces and serving the communities close to her heart makes her work especially meaningful.
Her favorite part of her career is being there for patients as they navigate one of the hardest times in their lives—offering care, comfort and support along the way.
One of her proudest accomplishments? Completing APRN school while working full time as an RN! 🎓
