The office is closed today as all administrative personnel are attending our Client Appreciation Day! We are so excited to have nice weather for today and get to spend the full day with our clients and staff! We have fun surprises planned! More pictures to come!! This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who served our country with courage and sacrifice.

We are especially grateful for the veterans in our communities whose stories, strength, and service continue to inspire us every day.

*Our Monthly Staff Spotlight is Betty Hines*

Betty has been with Change Inc. since 2016 and is deeply dedicated to helping others. She has extensive experience working with our elderly clients facing dementia and various other health issues. Currently, she serves as a Recovery Assistant.

Outside of work, Betty is very active in the community and heavily involved in her church. She is also quite creative, spending her time making jewelry and crocheting hats and dolls.

Today we had the privilege of attending the Mental Health Waiver Provider Fair at Connecticut Valley Hospital! It is always so nice to see the case managers we talk with day in and day out and celebrate Mental Health Awareness month together!

It's so awesome to see so many providers in one room all working towards the same goal of helping our community thrive at home! 💚💚

Today, the Change, Inc. team had the pleasure of attending the 2026 Senior Center Health Fair in Meriden — and what a wonderful morning it was! 💙

Events like these are such an important reminder that community matters, especially when it comes to supporting seniors and their families. We loved meeting so many local residents, sharing information about our services, and connecting with other organizations dedicated to helping older adults live safely and independently at home.

A big thank you to the organizers of the health fair for bringing together valuable resources, free health screenings, Medicare information, and support services all in one place. And let’s be honest… a free boxed lunch never hurts either. 😊
