🍩🍩 Happy National Donut Day !! 🍩🍩

National Donut Day was established in 1938 by the Salvation Army in Chicago to honor the "Donut Lassies," the female volunteers who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.

And here at Midland Medical Lodge we are happy to celebrate!

Today our residents, staff and family enjoyed bbq sandwhiches and some HTeaO to kick off this Memorial Day Weekend, reflecting on service, sacrifice and community. Grateful for the freedoms we enjoy together.

Dearest gentle readers, the Ton of Midland Medical Lodge has reached the grand finale of our spectacular Nursing Home Week!
We must extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, supported, and showered our residents and staff with love. This glorious Season was truly a triumph, allowing us to celebrate our burning affection for our facility and our beloved residents.
So many memories, laughs, and grand times were had, leaving us all quite high in the instep with joy!

Our residents had some Regency-Inspired drinks at the Bridgerton soirée. Everyone enjoyed this social gathering. We raise our glasses to Spirit Savvy and thank Daisy for her talents in making so many tasty drinks.

Today Midland Medical Lodge had some very special visitors from Midland Polo. Most of the visitors had two legs and one of them had four legs. The residents had so much fun getting to meet the Polo player and his horse. From feeding and petting the horse this experience will be fondly remembered by all. Thank you Midland Polo.

This morning Home Hospice treated our residents to a Bridgerton style brunch. Judging from all the smiles on the residents faces they really enjoyed themselves. Thank you Home Hospice!
