The Hackney pony has been stopping crowds since the 1880s. Compact, fearless, and built to move with a level of knee action and presence that no other breed can match, the Hackney pony is the show ring in its purest form. Shown to a four-wheeled viceroy, judged on quality, presence, performance, and manners, every detail counts. Including the harness.

The Freedman Hackney Pony Show Harness carries measurements that trace back to Eddie Godfrey, who built harness in the Chicago Stockyards and passed his knowledge to Sam Freedman, who passed it to David. Hand cut, rounded, waxed, and rubbed from the finest harness leather. Traditional English cast solid brass buckles. Hand sewn throughout. Three generations of craft that has been imitated more than any other piece of equipment in the equestrian world and duplicated by none.
